America's Next Top Pundit - WSJ.comMy concern about all these pundits is the danger they create in the name of their own recognition. In thier commitment to be provocotive [sp], they tear down diplomacy and tact needed for bridgebuilding. Why is bridgebuilding important? As long as we see others as our enemy and not our brother, we will feel justified in hating them (and killing them).
Is our brother practicing hypocracy? Then let us bring it to his attention gently and with tact. Is he endangering other people? More drastic measures may be needed, but not at the cost of those who are already across the bridge building relationships for correction. [This correction can work both ways. Are these pundits open to that?]
They are too much a lone ranger without a community of support. All the worst things of being a missionary without a redemptive means to their message.
