Curiosity & learning
So I was reading a popular novel a few years ago and I began to wonder how fast I was reading it. This led me to track the number of pages and the time I started and finished. As I was doing this, I noticed not all the chapters were the same length. I wondered if there was a pattern or structure to the length of the chapters and their placement in the book. I graphed the result and felt like there was meaning to the length of the chapter and its placement in the book. I realize this is more of an artistic interpretation or an impression. What do you think? What kind of statistical test might be used in this situation?
